I’m Dstcoyote22, which is short for DesertCoyote22, and I been around the net for a while.

This site not only contains update blog posts and such, but I also have pages dedicated to past writings about things in my life.

Many of these stories that I’ll post are old stories that I have reedited to fit both my current writing standards (I have to make sure it makes sense to the outside reader, not just to me), and to replace most names and such.

I am part artist and part writer. When something impacts me in some way and really gets my mind racing, I will either write about it and/or draw about it. Whether it is memoirs, or if I’m in in self therapy mode, I’ve found that putting it all down on paper helps putting my mind at ease. What results out of that are some pretty epic stories to share.

I started out with my partner JMAP and formed JMAP Productions in 2007, which focused on a series of Zelda parody animations. The videos were animated with Adobe Photoshop and edited with Windows Movie Maker. As each video was made, the animations got better, and the story arcs got more creative. After the Warriors of Hyrule  videos, JMAP Productions has since been on hiatus due to both members moving onto different things, not to mention the long distance between us, and that we only see each other in person once in a blue moon nowadays.

In 2009, I began started my own series of rant videos, known as Coyote Rants, which I’ve tried to keep up with since. While I will take requests for Coyote Rants, I mostly will rant on what I see fit. If it’s a worthy topic that hasn’t been touched upon too much, then I’ll say my two cents on it whether people agree with me or not.

In real life, I live in Southern California, and work as an ice hockey coach while still in school. These attributes do play into current blog posts where I talk about what I’ve been up to.
